Good-bye to an old friend

When thinking of business travel, most of us usually conjure up an image of a sleek, black Lincoln Town Car, carrying us to and from the airport or business meeting, in style.

It’s time to for us to come up with another visual: the Town Car is going away.

In case you hadn’t heard, Ford Motor Company, manufacturer of the Town Car, is shutting down the Canadian plant that produces the stylish, albeit blocky, vehicle. This impending change has left the limousine service world in a state of flux; the Town Car is iconic and represents a very large percentage of most livery companies fleets.

What should replace the Town Car?

Many folks are suggesting the Lincoln MKT. Other says the Mercedes R-Class. Still, other say that – wait for it – hybrids are going to dominate the market, offering a more cramped ride but one that is easier on the environment.

Fellowship Fleet is busy researching new vehicles and would love your opinion: what should replace the Town Car? What vehicle offers stylish, comfortable business travel?
